May 2026 Update (5 May 2026)

As previously communicated, further to the previous Job Evaluation Project Board meeting on 10 March 2026 it was agreed that the Joint Secretaries would undertake a piece of work to explore alternative scheme providers for Job Evaluation to understand if any scheme providers (including that of the current provider ECC-FEDRA) are able to provide the level of satisfactory transparency to move forward.

As such, the Joint Secretaries updated the most recent Job Evaluation Project Board meeting on 22nd April 2026 that they have since commenced this process, and further to the sifting of all of those potential schemes that they had begun discussions with five potential scheme providers namely

  •        ECC-FEDRA
  •        SJC
  •        Sterling Reward
  •        AOC/Pilat
  •        I-JEG

As referred in a previous communication all the above potential elected providers have been subject to a series of principle questions that had been jointly agreed as a pre-requisite to meet the desired level of transparency required to progress. To date and as reported to the JEPB, the Joint Secretaries have met with four out of the five scheme providers and have started to construct a table of all salient responses.

It is the intention of the Joint Secretaries to meet with the remaining outstanding provider and thereafter, review all the responses and information collated, and narrow the current list of five down to two and then have a second more detailed discussion with those two preferred providers.

Once this entire process is concluded, then the Joint Secretaries will compile and submit a final report with their findings and conclusions to the JEPB for consideration at the next schedule meeting on Wednesday 24th June 2026
